blue: you write a song about your best friend, who for a while you were in complete friend love with, and he/she/they/xe says "it's nice" and never mentions it again. you tell yourself it's enough for someone somewhere.

dog song: you start writing a sad song but your close friend turns to you and says "i wanna look at a person the way i look at dogs" and you completely change everything. you make yourself chamomile tea with a lot of honey, and talk about your favorite breed of dog for the next hour.

song 4 my ex(s): i wanted 2 call this "song 4 anyone i've ever been romantically involved with", but that was too long. you sit on your bed, it's unmade, and you feel really grateful for having loved so much in such a short period of time.

bitter: you sit on the floor of your living room and get really emotional. suddenly, you find yourself being extremely honest and talking mad shit- but in the most poetic way possible, and you cry a lot. your friends cry a lot. everyone cries a lot.

spokane: your sitting in a dark room that smells like lavender when you are suddenly hit with the realization you are still not over him/her/them/xer/it after 5 months. you then proceed to cry. you cry a lot. it feels really nice and you tell yourself you'll get ice cream when your face looks less swollen and moist.
